Southern Comfort

It's true.  People in the north are obsessed with Southern culture.  I get it.  We have style.  Southern style is evident in the form of boutiques in all of the trendy neighborhoods in Manhattan and Southern cuisine is as frequent.  I ate crawfish eggs benedict for brunch on Sunday and then immediately passed by a boutique with a welcoming "come on in ya'll" sign in front.

Here's how you get it:
1.  Persian rugs
2.  Monograms
3. Pearl or mother of pearl
4. Antiques
5. Bourbon and pretty things to store it in (if you can't stand dark liquor, cancel your Sat. morning plans and learn to drink it.  I did this a few years ago and although its not my favorite, I can enjoy if need be.)
6.  Magnolia, honeysuckle, spanish moss
7.  Correspondence cards a plenty
8.  Seersucker and madras

Check out my Olioboard for links to the items above.
